MiG-15 Fagot
The MiG-15, which challenged the United Nations forces starting in 1950, brought air superiority in a balanced manner with performance that surpassed that of conventional straight-wing fighter jets and reciprocating aircraft.
It was small and lightweight with swept wings, and was equipped with the RD-45 engine, a domestic product from the United Kingdom. Since that time, the MiG was the Soviet fighter aircraft most feared by the West.
