Towed anti-aircraft gun. Production began in 1940. It featured the M8A1 spring rammer. Its rate of fire was 20 rounds per minute.
This kit from AFV Club of the U.S. Army’s M1A1 World War II-era 155mm cannon known as “Long Tom” includes some newly molded parts, such as traveling locks, brake lines, transport limbs and metal hydraulic rods. The WWII-era tires are newly developed rubber, and decals for both U.S. and British versions are included.
